David Wilson

Architect + Director

David is known for his clear, honest advice and hands-on approach. As a director, he offers a personal level of service rare in projects of £10-15 million.

David studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, after which he worked with DP6 architectuurstudio in Delft, the Netherlands. This experience was pivotal, teaching him the enormous value of collaboration and shaping his approach to architecture.

Since joining Opfer Logan Architects in 2004, David has built extensive experience across sectors like commercial, industrial, and residential, with a particular focus on drive-thru developments, retail, and distilleries. He became a director in 2008 and is deeply involved in all aspects of the practice, from design and planning to project delivery.

An avid cyclist and triathlete, David brings the lessons of endurance and perseverance from sport into his professional life, always striving for the best results for his clients.

Nicky Chow

Architect + Director

With over 20 years of experience, Nicky brings a hands-on, personal approach to running our practice and collaborating with clients. A graduate of the Mackintosh School of Architecture, he has been with Opfer Logan since 2002, becoming a director in 2008.

Highly experienced in all aspects of the building process, Nicky offers expert advice throughout all phases of project development. He works closely with clients to realise their ambitions, ensuring every project reaches its full potential.

Nicky’s diverse portfolio spans multiple sectors, from retail and commercial to education and healthcare. Whether it’s new builds or revitalising historic buildings, Nicky applies creativity and analytical thinking to every challenge.

Known for his openness and approachability, he prioritises effective solutions and values strong relationships built on trust and collaboration.
